phone battery
hello. i swapped a cellphone to nokia 6680. the old battery did not charge properly so i bought a new one. if i charge the phone battery it will be fully charged then it will only last for 10 minutes. plus, when i charge it, the battery and the whole unit heats up. is it bad? battery used is class A lithium ion. how do i solve this problem? how do i know if its the unit that has a problem or just the battery and the charger? thanks.. |

If a new battery is only lasting 10 minutes after a full charge, then you have an earthing issue within the phone. Are you using the original charger supplied and the recommended battery for the phone. If a new phone still has the warranty you have the right to return. The same with the battery. If your techie minded use a multimeter. regards john |
