Interesting/Strange problem after removing operator logo.
I removed my logo by downloading the "blank" from http://www.jhonny.org/wap/kuvat/blank.nol. It worked as defined by NiVZ and took less than 5 secs....thank you. Here is my problem: from time to time the "Cingular" logo will come back and at that time the choice of operator logo will be blanked out. After a couple minutes, the Cingular logo will disappear again. This ofcourse is not affecting the function of the phone any, but I am curious as to what is going on. Thanks for any help. |

you must be roaming at that point when it comes back. when you roam, the operator logo will return. t-mo customers (in the US) are always roaming, so we cant remove the logo ever. |
Aha, that makes sense. I have the 6230 from Cingular, so it hardly roams and I had forgotten that possibility. That's neat, now I can tell when i am roaming by looking at the logo. Thanks for your help. |
this all seems logical since when the logo DID come back for me i was confused and went in and tried to turn the operator logo option to off and my phone said i couldnt do it while roaming |
